must see new zealand attractions?
Posted under New Zealand Attractionsi'm thinking of going on a trip next summer. it's about three weeks long and travels to new zealand and australia. i've already been to australia, so i know that part of the trip will be worth it. i just want to know what are some good must see new zealand attractions so i know if i'll be getting my money's worth on this trip. i'm only 15, so i'd like to know of stuff someone my age or a little older would be interested in. i'd appreciate any help and suggestions
You didn't say North or South Island you would be spending most of your time. Since I use to live in the South Is, I'll post my tips here. There’s heaps of Lord of the Rings Tours both island. Wellington and Queenstown the most popular. Search and you’ll have many options. Whale watching in Kaikoura. http://www.kaikoura.co.nz http://www.whalewatch.co.nz The Gondola in Christchurch - http://www.gondola.co.nz and Christchurch's International Antarctic Centre - http://www.iceberg.co.nz (right near the airport) Science Alive - http://www.sciencealive.co.nz - Exhibitions changes all the time there. Franz Joseph Glacier - http://www.franzjosefglacier.com is cool if you don’t see ice to often LOL Queenstown http://www.queenstown-nz.co.nz is the adventure capital of NZ – especially for EXTREME adventure – must do’s Bungy jumping, AJ Hackett - http://www.ajhackett.co.nz The world famous Shotover Jet doing full 360º spins! http://shotoverjet.co.nz Nelson, (top of the South Is) is the sunniest place in NZ! – http://www.nelsonnz.com Abel Tasman National Park, http://www.doc.govt.nz/templates/PlaceProfile.aspx?id=38455 Golden sand beaches etc... a great hike down the Abel Tasman track - can stay overnight camping at the end or even just do a short walk down there, or take an Aqua taxi or kayak ..... you can also swim with the seals (seasonal), http://www.sealswim.com Have fun on whatever you decide.

I always wanted to see that park where the flightless birds sometimes peck at the rubber of cars. I 4got what the name was but it's somewhere in central S. Island on the route between Christchurch and Greymouth.
